As one of Australia's most successful flower businesses, Lynch Flowers provides fresh blossoms to a number of large retailers, including Woolworths, Franklins, Shell, Qantas, ShopFast, wishlist.com.au, and freshflowers.com.au.

Situation

Selling fresh flowers requires accurate, real-time information. Product codes, supply, and data all change daily—and the employees of Lynch Flowers needed to be in the know. If their information wasn't fresh, neither were the flowers.

In addition, keeping track of thousands of bouquet orders demanded detailed information paired with speed and accuracy. Lynch Flowers needed a user-friendly backend system that would allow them to enter purchases and customer details online in real time.

Solution

The Spectrax™ solution streamlined both Lynch's retail and wholesale operations. They now use Client Connect Pro (CCPro™) database connection software for all their retail order processing. And, at wholesale flower markets, their representatives use Client Connect Pocket (CCPocket™) mobile device client software to instantly enter available products as they're purchased.

Benefits

During peak times, CCPro handles up to 3000 orders per day. Each order is now available at the push of a button, with the customer's name, recipient's name, order quantity, and other relevant details front-and-center. Real-time information flowing from the flower markets gives Lynch a head start on selling the day's freshest picks.
